About the Artist
Originally from Staffordshire I have been an art tutor and demonstrator for many years living and working in Gloucestershire. My inspiration has come from around the Severn estuary, Cotswold landscape, the West Country and Wales. For several years I was resident artist at the National Arboretum, Tetbury hence my love of woodlands. I now live in Wiltshire where I paint the local scenery around the Marlborough Downs and The Vale of Pewsey whilst continuing to demonstrate to art societies
I work in oils, acrylics and pastels. My work evolves from the shapes of colour in nature interacting with movement and light.
